My practice begins with intimacy, not only as a theme but as a state. I investigate what tends to remain veiled, emotions, fungi, molds, or memories, creating processes that reveal layers buried over time.
I work with materials and procedures that place tension on gesture and matter: I cultivate fungi and roses, extract natural pigments, work with fluids, and use unlikely tools such as squeegees, shovels, or the rose itself as a brush. These processes challenge control and bring me into contact with error, transformation and wear, the same forces that alter our memories.
The resulting works extend beyond the limits of the support, occupying space as an expanded field of sensation. Each work exists as both object and event, revealing itself uniquely with each encounter and reconfiguring itself over time, like memory itself.
My poetics is constructed in layers, between the ephemeral and the permanent. I invite the viewer to cross this unstable territory, where the intimate, the sensory and the remembered intertwine, opening space for vulnerability and the acceptance of the unknown.
